이와 같은 메시지는 오류가 있음을 알려주는 기능을 하지만 대부분 심각한 오류가 아닌데도 너무 자주 나타난다는 문제가 있다. 이를 끄려면 /etc/default/apport를 수정해 주어야 한다.

sudo gedit /etc/default/apport

# set this to 0 to disable apport, or to 1 to enable it
# you can temporarily override this with
# sudo service apport start force_start=1
